Matters not.

And closed carefully
Into undogged ears
Is whispered an erratum -
‘I love you’.

*The plural of ‘leaf’ is ‘leaves’. But here ‘leafs’ here means ‘loose leaf pages’. As a spoken short form then it should be ‘leafs’, like the ice hockey team one has to say and write ‘the Toronto Maple Leafs’, not ‘the Toronto Maple Leaves’.
